The Vesperian Witchcord - A Lesson in Satanic Rosary Construction

  • 19 Steps

About

The impulse to touch the divine has always deeply imbedded itself into the human act of prayer. Long, long before the rise of Christianity, people across the ancient world used cords, beads, and knots as instruments of spiritual focus. The rosary, as with many ritual tools and implements, had older pagan roots. Archeological evidence suggests that knot cords and bead strings were used in ancient Greece and Rome for counting prayers, invocations, oracles, and were often dedicated to deities such as Hekate or Isis. The Celts, as well, developed threads and cords that were woven into charm knots which symbolized fate, continuity, and the cyclic nature of life. Even Egypt had strings of amulets and scarabs serving as portable temples for protection and the invocation of various spiritual principles or entities. We will explore the ancient roots of prayer cords across the globe and situating ourselves into this long lineage through integrating rosaries and cords into Vesperianism. All of these instances have one thing in common: The idea that repetition is rhythm, and rhythm is power. We know that through rhythm, the human mind enters altered states and can achieve higher spiritual feats. This short course will guide you through the components, construction, and use of your own Vesperian Witchcord!
